Horseradish roots x3 for planting
Horseradish are perennial and roots are used in recipes, and have many medicinal uses. Peeling a fresh horseradish root reveals a white flesh that can be grated to add a kick to many dishes. Most people consume the roots only, but the leaves are also edible. Horseradish packs a nutritional punch, is a natural antibacterial and helps boost circulation while combating inflammation. Many consider the herb a super food, as it also contains compounds called glucosinolates which are know to have cancer fighting properties. As always, do your homework.Planting in the Spring will yield usable roots by the Fall. Hardy in zones 3-9, horseradish grows 2-3’ tall and prefers full sunlight. This listing is for 3 root pieces about 2” long of various widths, freshly dug at time of order. Will ship with some mildly damp soil. After arrival, plant in the ground 1-2” deep.
