Differences between silk-kōbai and cotton-kōbai:

Kōbai is a type of high-class yukata. It's a dyed fabric made by katazome (stencil dyeing) on a thin ground fabric with thick cotton threads woven in a grid pattern.

If both the thin ground fabric and the thick threads are cotton, it's cotton-kōbai (100% cotton).

If the thin ground fabric is silk, it's silk-kōbai (85% silk, 15% cotton).

If the ground fabric is cotton and linen, it's cotton-linen-kōbai (75% linen, 25% cotton).

This is "silk-kōbai."

Silk-kōbai cannot be bought for 50,000 or 60,000 yen; it's a top-quality yukata.
