Blazing red and gold blooms appear all summer long, and into fall. A vigorous, fast growing vine, perfect for covering a fence post, arbor or trellis
Major Wheeler Honeysuckle (Lonicera) is a non-stop bloomer coloring the garden from late spring through the summer with showy clusters of orange-red flowers. Ideally place the plants so that the perfume can be easily enjoyed. All will grow in most soil types but like many other plants prefer a well-draine humus rich soil.
Does honeysuckle need a trellis?
Honeysuckles can be grown as ground cover in suitable areas but most do best with some type of support, either along a fence or on a trellis. They can also be grown in containers
